The always lovely, Lisa from the Willows shared this sweet picture with us. She planted wildflower seeds in egg shells and got the very first sprouts Easter morning! What a beautiful way to start the day!

adding texture

After moving the piece from behind our register into the garden shop, we had to decide what we wanted there next. We decided to create a wall with texture rather than placing another large furniture piece back there. We lined the walls with corrugated cardboard and gave them a sloppy coat of "french linen" paint. It gives it the cozy feel of a lovely aged wall. We just can't stop playing around with different ideas over here... there is always fun to be had. What do you think?
